Don’t waste time using social media
The truth of the matter is, us professionals don’t actually spend a lot of time in social media. My friends and family are always saying, “Man, you work in social media for a living and I can never get hold of you in Facebook.”
And there’s a reason for that… it’s too distracting.
So we use tools like HootSuite or Sprout Social (my favourite) to get the most out of our social media efforts without losing hours of our lives watching videos of stoned cats water skiing on YouTube (yes that’s Mr McFly from Back to the Future having a bad trip). Pdfs as email newsletters are bad!
